Dresden Airport
Dresden Airport (IATA code — DRS, ICAO — EDDC) is located 9 km away from the center of Dresden. All amenities and services are grouped together. This International Airport services flights to central cities of Europe and several popular resort places. There is also a direct airport motorway, as well as S-Bahn (city rail) Station, that makes it easy to get to the terminal. Furthermore, different events and concerts are arranged here from time to time, and various guided tours and excursions are organized within its area. Today only one terminal operates – the Dresden International Terminal.

To and from the airport
You can get to and from the airport by bus, tram, S-Bahn, or taxi.
There is a bus stop right outside the gateway. The bus 77 runs back and forth the Terminal and Infineon Nord station, where you can take a tram 7 that will bring you to the main hubs such as Albertplatz, Pirnaischer Platz, or the Central Railway Station. The bus line 80 goes to the shopping center ElbePark and then to the Omsewitz district.
The S2 line of the S-Bahn connects Dresden Airport and two large stations Dresden Neustadt and Dresden Central Station. The S-Bahn station is located on the lower floor of the airport terminal. The trains are pulling out every thirty minutes.
There is a single tariff zone for public transport tickets in Dresden. The tram, bus, and S-Bahn tickets cost € 2.30. You can purchase them at a self-service ticket machine at the bus stop or at the information desk in the airport.

Within the airport
The check-in area of Dresden International Terminal is located on the Departures Level 1. To get there, use escalator or elevator. Most airlines are provided with special kiosks for self-check-in. Such kiosks can be found near the large display board situated in the Departures area, and they are available 24 hours a day.
At the information desk you can check your check-in counter, buy the bus, tram, or S-Bahn ticket, book a taxi and also purchase the city and regional card. Moreover, you can reserve any airport excursion and also book a hotel.

A multi-storey car park connected with the Dresden International terminal by a tunnel is a great advantage of the airport. It holds 1500 car lots. Besides, there are also parking options near the airport where you can park your vehicle for a day or more.
Parking fees
Tariffs for long-term car parking are the following:
- An outdoor parking lot for a stay up to 9 days will cost you € 15 (the minimum is 7 days). The parking spaces are limited so pre-booking is required.
- Parking in the multi-storey building will cost you about € 25 per 7 days. This is the lowest tariff; the parking spaces are situated on the fourth level. Pre-booking online is required.
- A special tariff € 28 offers a parking lot for 3 days. Online pre-booking is required.
