💡 Go to Verbier, if you’d like to see pulsating heart of the ski area Les 4 Vallées with après-ski. However, Verbier is quite an expensive place.
💡 La Tzoumaz suits the most for snowboarders and is a quiet small location which is cheaper than Verbier.

Zermatt-Matterhorn is a ski region in Switzerland and Italy with extra-long pistes which total length comes to around 360 km. What’s more, there is also the 17 km long downhill (the longest one in Europe) from the Klein Matterhorn (3.883 m) into the valley. And one more feature of this true ski paradise: thanks to three glaciers the season continues even in the summer.

In the Gravity Park at the Furggsattel (3.365 m) snowboarders show their unbelievable upward jumps thanks to superpipes.
💡 In the Italian part of the ski region in Breuil Cervinia is the highest snowpark in Europe. Young and old will definitely have a great time in the ski park for kids and snowboarders and freestylers of any level in the Indian Park. What’s more, Valtournenche has more than 10 blue and 2 black pistes and one baby piste at guests’ disposal.

💡 Leogang is the best place for a quiet and relaxing romantic vacation and a family vacation. Here you will find a varied winter sport offer, as well as tobogganing and and racing skiing. What is more, there is everything for ski learning in the Leo’s Kinderland.
💡 Saalbach is the largest and the most vivid location. There are a lot of possibilities for freestylers thanks to its Learn To Ride parks with boardercross and also numerous après-ski bars. A free ski bus will bring skiers right to Hinterglemm and Vorderglemm.
💡 People, searching for idyllic peace in a small mountain village, go to Viehhofen. Enjoy a wide offer for ski tours through the Glemmtal or go by free shuttlebus to the Skicircus for skiing (takes a few minutes).
In the car-free village Hinterglemm you will find a lot of ski possibilities, a night park for freestylers, a casino, snow tubing trails, floodlight pistes and race tracks.

Tobogganing on the toboggan slope Schneefernerkopf, on the toboggan run Sonnenkar down the White Valley and the toboggan run Wetterwandeck
Tip: use the combi ticket offer of the ski hire Zugspitze: a mini bob and a helmet - only 13 euro per day. Where: on the basement floor of the glacier restaurant Sonnalpin oder right in the toboggan hut at the Gletschergarten.
There is a mini slope for toddlers and beginners near the toboggan hut.
☃ Snowshoes walking
Guided snowshoe trial tours.
Prices: 39 euro per person, incl. mountain guide and snowshoe lend equipment, without mountain railway ticket.
Meeting point: 9 a.m. near the cable railway Zugspitze.

☃ Visiting of a real igloo village
The small settlement consists of round 20 snow houses, a bar, a kitchen, 2 whirlpools and a sauna. One overnight stay here will bring you a lot of impressions. Application at iglu-dorf.com
Tip: Visit the new restaurant on the Zugspitze, which was opened on 1. July 2018. Here are served typical dishes from the Alpine room, richly garnished with the panorama views. You have also a possibility to enjoy a series of pictures of the renowned illustrator Ameli Neureuther in the coffee bar in the inner area.

The adventure area for children Kinderland
At the Hausberg in the region Garmisch-Classic you will find beginner friendly pistes and the adventure area for children Kinderland with a numerous attractions. A magic carpet and three beginner lifts will help your kids by the ascent.
· Free for children under 6 years of age accompanied by the parents.
· Within the framework of a ski course children under 6 years of age need a valid ticket.
The Kinderland ticket is available at ticket windows of the Bavarian Zugspitze Railway and is valid for the use of the Hausberg Gondola lift and the adventure area Kinderland.
Accommodation
A room in a guest house or a hotel in Grainau costs from 31 euro per person. You can also find a holiday flat for two in Grainau from 275 euro per week.
