Via Lattea (Milky Way or Voie Lactée), the international skiing area, includes several ski resorts in the northwest of Italy as well as Montgenèvre Ski Resort in the southeast of France. The ski resorts Sestriere, Cesana Sansicario, Sauze d'Oulx, and Claviere are located in the Italian part of the ski area.
