Fistral Beach is located in the southwestern part of the UK, in Cornwall, on the western edge of Newquay. This long golden sand beach is known as one of the best surfing spots and is suitable for both professionals and beginners.
The picturesque beach is located between two capes and is surrounded by green hills. Due to the unique coastline and permanent waves, it has hosted international and British surfing competitions for many years.
On the beach, there is the International Surfing Center, which offers first-class amenities to the holidaymakers. Here you can rent surfing equipment, there are public toilets, showers, and parking available. From May to September, swimming is supervised by a lifeguard. You can take lessons at Fistral Beach Surf School. There are enough restaurants and cafés here to have a great time with the whole family. You can visit the beach with your dog, and access is allowed all year round.
Fistral Beach faces west, so here you can watch not only surfing but also magnificent sunsets.
