Gurgl Ski Resort (or Obergurgl Hochgurgl) is located in the far end of the Ötztal valley, Tyrol, Austria. This winter resort, set at an altitude of almost 2000 m, is one of the snowiest areas in Tyrol.
In addition to excellent skiing and a wide range of freeride options, the resort offers additional winter activities: skating, nighttime snowshoe trips, toboggan parties, guided ski tours, and winter hiking paths.
The ski area of Gurgl Ski Resort is located at an altitude of approximately 1800 to 3080 m above sea level, and 112 km of ski slopes of various difficulty levels (18% of them are difficult, 50% - intermediate, 32% - easy), as well as long runs up to 7 km are available here. The resort has 25 ski lifts of various types.
Ski equipment and snowboard rentals are available in the villages of Hochgurgl and Obergurgl, near the ski lift bases.
