Whitehaven Beach is located on one of the 74 islands of the Whitsundays, in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. This snow-white sandy beach is about 7 km long and ranks first among the beaches of Oceania, Queensland, and Australia. Undoubtedly, this is also one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The snow-white sand sparkling in the sun is unique, pure, and soft. It does not retain heat, so it is comfortable to walk barefoot here. The turquoise waters of the beach are serene, clear, and transparent. In the northern part of the beach is the Hill Inlet observation deck. Here you can observe surreal pictures created by nature itself, combining the snow-white sand with the turquoise waters of the ocean during the currents. 

There are no services on the beach, however, there are no restaurants or hotels. You can book an organized one-day tour with a visit to Whitehaven Beach. Some hotels and local travel agencies accept tour bookings.
