Val Gardena Ski Resort, Italy

Val Gardena Ski Resort is located in South Tyrol, northeastern Italy, and is part of the legendary ski region Dolomiti Superski, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The ski resort, several times recognized as the sportiest ski resort in the Alps, offers over 60 sunny days per season, 178 km of perfectly prepared pistes, the famous Saslong World Cup slope, the Val Gardena fun park for snowboarders and freeriders, an incredible number of lifts, and the largest selection of après-ski bars.

The ski area of Val Gardena is located at an altitude of approximately 1236 to 2540 m above sea level, 175 km of ski slopes of various difficulty levels (12% of them are difficult, 59% — intermediate, 29% — easy), and long runs up to 6 km are available here. The resort has 79 ski lifts of various types.

The resort offers a wide selection of ski schools, ski instructors, and mountain guides in Val Gardena, Ortisei, and Selva di Val Gardena. Ski equipment and snowboard rentals are available in several rental stations.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck Airport and Venice Marco Polo International Airport. The nearest major city is Bolzano (40 km).
