Beaches of Viareggio, Tuscany, Italy

The beaches of Viareggio are located along the west coast of Italy, in a seaside city of Tuscany with the same name. This beach area belongs to the TOP 5 best in Italy. On this coast, there are several wide sandy beaches that stretch one after the other. Their total length is more than 20 km.

The beach infrastructure is well-developed: here you can rent sun loungers, umbrellas, water sports equipment; there are beach bars, playgrounds, changing rooms, showers, and public toilets at your service.

Along the city's waterfront, there are many gelaterie, cafés, restaurants, and various shops.

In the southern part of the beach area, outside the city, there is the wilder beach, la Lecciona. This is a great free beach, clean and spacious, with a relaxed atmosphere. There are no beach services, only sand, and seawaters.
