Unawatuna Beach, Sri Lanka
Unawatuna Beach is located in the lagoon of the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. This sandy beach in a bay protected by coral reefs from the sea is considered the best beach on the island.
The coast boasts aquamarine waters and a gentle slope, without any dangerous currents. The beach infrastructure offers showers and public toilets, as well as the rental of sun loungers and umbrellas from local cafés. Due to the cleanliness of coastal waters, diving is popular here (you need to take equipment with you).
