The Leipzig Trade Fair
No doubt, one of the best places for international congresses and forums is the new Leipziger Messe where a great number of different fairs and exhibitions take place over a year and a lot of entrepreneurs come together to discuss important questions and make business.
The trade fairs of Leipzig are among the oldest in the world: the first trading shows had been organized more than 850 years ago.
The expo center was built in 1996. It has five inter-linked pavilions, including a central hall and a congress-hall. The area of each part of the complex is 20 500 sq. meters. Moreover, about 70 thousand sq. m of the open area is used as well for exhibitions.

How to get to the trade fair
The new Leipziger Messe is located at the address: 1 Messe Avenue. You can reach it easily from the main railway station by tram line number 16. The rapid transit railway S-Bahn routes S2, S5, S5x, and S11 will take you to the expo center as well from the Leipzig Airport and the suburbs. The S5 route departs from the Leipzig/Halle airport every 30 minutes and it takes about 8 minutes to get to the destination.

All of the exhibitions will be held according to the new hygiene concept “Safe Expo”. In order to protect both visitors and participants of trade fairs in Leipziger Messe, all frequently touched surfaces will be regularly cleaned and disinfected. The “Safe Expo” concept is being continuously adapted to the respective government requirements.
