DOK - International Leipzig documentary and animated film festival Movies Founded back in 1955, this is the oldest documentary and animated film festival in the world. Euro-Scene Leipzig Theater, Dance, Arts Founded in 1991 euro-scene is one of the most important festivals of its kind for innovative dance and drama productions in Europe. The festival will show about 12 guest plays from 10 countries in around 25 presentations and 8 venues. Night Run There are two distances to choose from (5km and 10 km). Participants run through the historical center of Leipzig, with the starting point on Market Square. Leipzig Triathlon This sports event is being held in Leipzig since 1984, and this year it is expected to be attended by over 1000 participants. Along with Olympic distance, there are also other world championship competition formats. July 26 Kulkwitzer Lake in Neuseenland region Kids: free admission. Participation fees range between 60 Euro and 100 Euro.
LVZ Bicycle Fest 2020 A family-friendly event for both professional and amateur cyclists being held near the Monument to the Battle of the Nations. The event includes five tours (6 km, 23 km, 45 km, 75 km, and 110 km). At the end of the races, a big family party is usually being held. September Monument to the Battle of the Nations Online registration is required.
