Hintertux Glacier Ski Resort is located in the Tyrolean Zillertal Valley, Austria. This unique resort is Austria's only year-round ski resort with perfectly groomed pistes and exciting activities set at altitudes of up to 3250 m.
An incredibly attractive ski resort with reliable snow and natural slopes offer many possibilities for off-piste skiing, stunning views from the panoramic terrace, friendly areas for beginners and children, as well as a ski school and childcare services.
The ski area of Hintertux Glacier Ski Resort is located at an altitude of approximately 1500 to 3250 m above sea level, and 60 km of ski slopes of various difficulty levels (9% of them are difficult, 58% – intermediate, and 33% – easy), as well as long runs up to 10 km are available here. The resort has 21 ski lifts of various types.
Ski equipment and snowboard rentals, as well as ski- & snowboard schools are available in Finkenberg and in Tux. For storage of skis and equipment, you can use the new and modern ski depot.
The nearest airports are Innsbruck Airport, Munich Airport, and Zurich Airport.
The skiing is available every day of the year on the Hintertux Glacier Ski Resort, with the winter skiing season lasting from October to May. In summer, you can ski from May to October.
