Grand Anse Beach, Grenada

Grand Anse Beach is the gem of Grenada – the world-famous beach, one of the most beautiful and impressive. It is located in the southwest of Grenada, 5 km south from St. George. It occupies the endless 3 km of coastline, covered with white soft sand and washed by the azure waters of the warm Caribbean Sea.

The beach is located on the leeward side of the island and offers plenty of relaxation and sunbathing. Given the size of the beach, it is almost never too crowded! Crystal clear waters, gentle waves with little currents – all the conditions are great for swimming and surfing.

Near the beach you will find diving shops where it is possible to buy or rent snorkeling equipment.

Nearby there is a jetty for water taxis, the Grand Anse Craft & Spice Market, as well as many beachfront restaurants, where you can sample Grenadian cuisine.

Watching the mesmerizing sunsets from the Grand Anse is an unforgettable experience, particularly worth noting!

The best time to visit Grenada is the period from autumn to spring, and the best month for it is December.
