Myrtos Beach, Kefalonia

Myrtos Beach is located on the northwest coast of Kefalonia, Greece. It is a wonderful and sheltered bay with white sandy and pebble coastline surrounded by picturesque limestone cliffs. The waters here are incredibly blue, clear, and crystal clear. The beach and its panorama are considered to be the best in Greece and are also mentioned by travel magazines among the 30 best in the world.

It is very easy to get to the beach by any means of transport, including the public bus.

The beach is not fully organized — it is possible to rent umbrellas, but there are no restaurants or bars nearby. Those wishing to see the beauty of Myrtos Beach and relax here all day will have to take beach snacks and drinks with them.

Near the beach, at the top, there are wonderful observation platforms, from where you can see the view like from an airplane! Don't miss them to make the photo or enjoy incredibly beautiful evening sunsets!
