Beaches of Proizd, Vela Luka

Proizd is a small uninhabited island located near Vela Luka, Croatia. There are several beaches, a small marina, and a restaurant located on the island.

This area suits for a one-day trip: the stay on the island is limited to the first and last departure of water taxis. The time required to get from the center of Vela Luka to the island of Proizd is around 35 minutes.

There are four beaches on the island – you can reach them by taking paths surrounded by pine trees. 

Batalo beach is the largest and a bit crowded; families with children often rest here. This beach is closer to the restaurant (and toilet) than other beaches.

Veli Bili Bok is a very beautiful beach with clear turquoise waters and white stones.

Srednji Bili Bok is a small, uncrowded beach with cozy bays and crystal clear waters, which is especially loved by visitors.

Donji Bili Bok – located in the western part of the island, this is the farthest beach from the pier – a nudist one.
