Platja del Castell, Costa Brava

Platja del Castell is located on the northeast coast of Spain, in the area of ​​Costa Brava. It is a large natural sandy beach located in a protected area close to Palamós.

The bay is wide and sheltered, surrounded by pine trees, nearby is the Iberian settlement of Castell. During the summer months, the beach is quite popular and crowded. There are areas with shallow water suitable for families with children. Though the beach is natural, there is a beach bar, lifeguards, temporary toilets, ramps, walking paths, a kayaking school, and canoe rental. It is also a great snorkeling spot.

It is easy to get here by bus or car, there is a large parking lot (paid in summer).
