Playa Les Rotes, Dénia is an extensive beach area south of the city, set on the coastline of Costa Blanca, Spain. This charming area with a rocky landscape has several beaches that occupy a coastline of about 4 km.
Marineta Casiana Beach is the closest to the town, so you can get here with comfort. The beach is sandy and the water is not really deep, which is suitable for families with children. It has all the services you may need, such as showers and toilets, lifeguard service, shaded areas, convenient parking. There is also a beach bar and several restaurants nearby. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness and services.
The next beach is Playa El Trampolí. Surrounded by cliffs, it occupies 1 km of rocky coastline. The local seabed is just perfect for diving! There is a lifeguard service on the beach and several good restaurants nearby.
A little further, in a beautiful rocky bay with clear water, there is Punta Negra beach. It can be easily reached via Les Rotes pedestrian walkway. The beach is about 1.4 km long. This is a fairly quiet area, free from swarms of holidaymakers. There is no bar on the beach, but you can find a restaurant on the front line. There is a lifeguard service available on the beach.
The next is a small beach Playa Arenetes located in a rocky bay with very beautiful views of the Mediterranean and Cabo de San Antonio, National park of Spain. The beach is only about 300 meters long and is somewhat crowded during the summer months. Like other beaches in the Les Rotes area, it has a rocky coastline and seabed. At the southern end of the beach, there is a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. In summer, parking by the beach is not always available, but there is a car park for visitors behind the restaurant.
The last and southernmost beach of the Les Rotes area is Playa La Cala. It's a very small beach with views of the Montgó mountains. It occupies a hidden rocky inlet with small esplanades between the rocks. Its coast of stones and gravel stretches for about 180 m. You can only get there on foot by going down the stairs. This place is great for lovers of snorkeling, and it is also allowed to practice nudism here. Next to the beach, there is a restaurant with beautiful sea views and private parking.
