Claviere Ski Resort, Italy

Claviere Ski Resort is located in the Piedmont region, near the French border, northwest of Italy, 97 km west of Turin. This ski resort is part of the large unified Via Lattea ski area.  

The ski resort of Claviere offers the most convenient access to the French side of Via Lattea, Montgenèvre, through the Monti della Luna. Moreover, the ski resort boasts an excellent choice of ski slopes for intermediate and beginner skiers, great snow conditions in a base village located at an altitude of 1760 m, many freeride opportunities, nice ski pass prices, a range of winter activities, as well as many restaurants with a traditional alpine atmosphere and excellent cuisine.

The ski area of Via Lattea is located at an altitude of approximately 1350 to 2823 m above sea level, 400 km of ski slopes of various difficulty levels (19% of them are difficult, 47% — intermediate, 34% — easy), and long runs up to 9 km are available here. The resort has 69 ski lifts of various types.

This resort offers ski schools and ski courses with a local ski instructor in Claviere. Ski equipment and snowboard rentals are also available here.
