Classic Open Air in Leipzig

One of the most outstanding and major events in summer is the Classic Open Air Festival.
In 2020, the Classic Open Air festival in Leipzig lasts two days. The Gewandhaus Orchester goes open air and performs in the popular Rosental park to celebrate the end of the concert season. You can pack a picnic basket, blankets, chairs, and barbecue equipment and enjoy the concerts in a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Parking
If you travel to the Classic Open Leipzig by car, you can leave your vehicle in one of many parking lots that are provided in the center of the city:

The center of Leipzig becomes a pedestrian zone during the festival from 10 am to 10 pm. For this reason, in case you come to the festival by bike, you should park it as well. There are a lot of bicycle parking facilities, so you will find a place for your vehicle for sure.
How to Get
For those who come to Leipzig from another place by train, you can easily reach the Rosental park on foot from the Main Train Station of Leipzig. You can also use the Leipzig City Tunnel to get to the Classic Open Air.
If you come to the fest by city tram, it is better to get off at any station near the central city ring.
