Alpe d'Huez Ski Resort is located in the southeast of France, in Huez, near Grenoble. This popular ski area in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region has 300 days of sunshine a year and limitless possibilities for skiing and snowboarding.
Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine includes seven villages and ski areas of Auris-en-Oisans and Oz Vaujany. The ski resort offers a variety of skiing and snowboarding landscapes as well as reliable snowpack, long runs up to 16 km and night skiing. Even those who are not keen on skiing will discover a wealth of winter activities here: dog sledding, sledge on rail, snowshoe hikes.
Here, the ski area is located at an altitude of approximately 1125 to 3330 m above sea level, there is 250 km of ski slopes of various difficulty levels (20% of them are difficult, 50% – intermediate, and 30% – easy). The resort has 67 ski lifts of various types.
Ski and snowboard rentals are available in several resort villages. Ski schools or independent ski instructors for ski lessons, as well as mountain guides, are also available.
The closest airports to the resort are Genève Aéroport, Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, and Chambéry-Savoie Airport. Grenoble railway station is 64 km from Alpe d'Huez Ski Resort. From the train station, you can get to Alpe d'Huez resort by public transport or shuttle bus, as well as by taxi.
