Praia da Marinha, an iconic ocean beach, is located on the southern coast of Portugal, in the Algarve region, near Lagoa. This beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – its panoramic views are amazing!

The golden sand beach with serene crystal clear waters is surrounded by high bizarre cliffs. From these rocks, amazing views open up. Here rock cliff arches form funny shapes: they protrude from the water in the form of the letter «M» or appear in front of us in the form of a heart.

You can go down to the beach using the stairs, which are located on the east side. Downstairs there is a restaurant and a smaller part of the beach. To get to the main part, you need to go around a large rock. Be careful when the tide is high!

Praia da Marinha is a well-groomed beach with soft golden sand and rather calm turquoise waters. This is a great place for families with children, as well as for diving, but you need to take your equipment with you. 

Here it is not very crowded, as you can only get to the beach by car. There is a parking lot, and already from here, magnificent views open up!
